When to use the solver
The solver is for two things: confirming a tricky puzzle has an answer at all, and checking your work after you're done. It's not a way to "skip" hard sudokus. that takes the fun out of it.

Solver FAQ
Does the solver work on every sudoku?
Yes, for standard 9×9 puzzles with one solution. If your grid has two valid answers or none at all, the solver will say so.
Is my puzzle sent to a server?
No. The solver runs entirely in your browser. Nothing leaves your device.
How fast is it?
Most puzzles solve in a few hundred microseconds. Even the hardest evil-level grids finish in under a second.
Can I share a puzzle with someone?
Yes. After typing it in, click Copy share link. The URL includes the puzzle, so whoever opens it will see the same grid.
